Behind the Link: Our Interview on Happy 100 Days

Recently, Jenny and I had the honor of being interviewed by Alison, and the Happy 100 Days team, in their first-ever, Behind the Link interview–Thanks, guys, we are honored! Happy 100 Days is an awesome place to connect with other writers and share your writing. The Link-up begins on Thursday and runs throughout the week. You can find a preview and link to our interview below 🙂

Why did you start blogging?
Jenny and I began blogging because we wanted to share what we are learning about blended family life and family leadership. We also wanted to encourage others to keep growing in their faith. In the process, we discovered that writing is an excellent way to continue our own growth while making new friends along the way!

What is the meaning of the name of your blog?
Of course, Jenny and I both love coffee. We also enjoy keeping things real. Coffee shops are where life happens. They an excellent venue for people watching. There are couples on dates, others who are breaking up, and parents doing their best to manage children in the middle of full-blow fits. Coffee shops are as real as it gets, and Jenny and I like to keep things real too. This means sharing both our ups and downs in our posts.
